At Axturis Technologies in Salzburg, you help build the core of our digital platform. We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys working across modern frontend development, scalable backend services and cloud‑native operations. Your Role

Build the Frontend Experience

• Develop Angular-based single-page applications for user workflows

• Integrate with backend services using strongly typed OpenAPI clients

• Ensure secure, HTTPS-only communication across the platform

Engineer Scalable Backend Services

• Implement business logic with Java and Spring Boot

• Design stateless, horizontally scalable services

• Maintain clean separation between domain, API and persistence layers

Own the API Contract

• Use OpenAPI as the source of truth for documentation, client generation and versioning

Shape the Data Layer

• Work with PostgreSQL as our primary datastore

• Manage schema migrations and environment separation

• Contribute to backup and restore strategies

Deploy, Operate, Improve

• Package services as Docker images and deploy via Kubernetes

• Work with CI/CD pipelines, rolling updates and auto-scaling

• Help maintain a secure, monitored, cloud-native environment

Security & Reliability Mindset

• Contribute to OIDC authentication and OAuth2 authorization

• Understand API gateway patterns, rate limiting and token validation

• Support observability through centralized logging and monitoring

What You Bring

• Experience with Angular, Java/Spring Boot and REST/OpenAPI

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows

• A mindset for clean architecture, security and operational excellence

• Ability to collaborate, document and own features from idea to production
