Integrated EFB  ·  built with WinOps

The cockpit companion for the entire flight lifecycle.

WinOps EFB is the integrated Electronic Flight Bag for Anemos 5 - one iPad app that carries the crew from flight planning through aircraft acceptance, preflight, inflight and postflight. Built by our partner WinOps, integrated end-to-end with the Anemos 5 dispatch platform.

Complete flight lifecycle

One app from flight planning to postflight - structured, efficient, fully digital.

WinOps EFB mirrors the way crews actually work a flight. Each phase has its own focused workspace, the relevant sub-modules are one tap away, and the data flows forward automatically - no re-keying between phases, no app-switching in the cockpit.

PHASE 01

Flight Planning

Crew, fuel and briefing on the same page. OFP review, fuel breakdown, airport briefings - TAF, METAR, NOTAMs and company notes.

  • Operational flight plan
  • Fuel breakdown & corrections
  • Built-in PDF briefing viewer
PHASE 02

Aircraft Acceptance

Digital acceptance and signing with full aircraft status (MZFM, MTOM, MLM), airworthiness declaration and signature capture.

  • Flight acceptance flow
  • Digital signature on glass
  • Preflight inspection workflow
PHASE 03

Preflight

D-ATIS scanning, fuel uplift with density conversion, full loadsheet with digital signing, takeoff performance, NOTOC, clearance.

  • D-ATIS parsed into structured fields
  • Loadsheet & takeoff performance
  • Photo capture at every step
PHASE 04

Inflight

Live en-route progress with actual vs. planned fuel and time at every waypoint. Interactive route map with vertical profile and alternates.

  • Per-waypoint actual vs. planned
  • Route map & vertical profile
  • ATC flight plan, landing performance
PHASE 05

Postflight

Postflight fuel entry, delay codes, flight time recording and crew reports captured directly in the EFB - online or offline.

  • Fuel actuals & delay codes
  • Crew reports
  • Offline queue, auto upload
ACROSS PHASES

Two iPads, one truth

Captain and First Officer iPads stay synchronised - even without ground network. Peer-to-peer sync keeps both crew on the same flight state.

  • Offline iPad-to-iPad sync
  • No internet required
  • Single shared flight state
Briefing overview

Everything that matters before pushback - on one screen.

One consolidated briefing screen pulls the flight together: crew per leg, aircraft, route, OFP status, taxi-out averages, expected delay and requested fuel - all visible without clicking between flights.

  • Previous-flight remaining fuel pulled in automatically
  • Set requested fuel and trigger an OFP recalculation
  • Airport CAT rating, TAF and company NOTAMs in one view
  • Built-in PDF viewer for the auto-generated briefing sheet
Briefing overview - crew, flight data and previous-flight fuel
Airport intelligence

TAFs, NOTAMs and company notes - in context.

Each airport on the rotation gets its own card: CAT rating with operational context, runway data, current TAF, and the NOTAMs that actually matter for this flight. Company NOTAMs sit alongside the official ones, so the crew sees one consolidated picture.

  • CAT-A through CAT-D rating with rationale per fleet
  • Live TAF with raw and decoded view
  • Company NOTAMs with publication date and category
Airport briefing - CAT ratings, TAF, company NOTAMs
Inflight - route map

Full-screen route map with vertical profile.

The interactive map carries the full flight: route, waypoints, alternates with fuel info, and a detailed vertical profile showing altitude, wind component, temperature, fuel, FIR, MORA and tropopause layers. Layers and the profile are toggleable - the cockpit decides what to see.

  • Wind comp, temperature, fuel and MORA layers on the same axis
  • Alternates and step-climbs visible at a glance
  • Touch-friendly pan, zoom and waypoint inspection
Inflight route map with vertical profile - EDDB to EDDS
Inflight - waypoint log

Actual vs. planned, at every waypoint.

The route log puts the dispatch plan and the real flight side by side. Wind, OAT, TAS/Mach, FL, distance per leg, estimated and actual times, fuel used and fuel on board - waypoint by waypoint. Deviations are flagged the moment they appear, so the crew sees fuel and time discrepancies as they build, not after the fact.

  • Per-waypoint actual vs. planned for time and fuel
  • Visual flags on deviating waypoints
  • Block-off and takeoff times captured automatically
Inflight route log - actual vs planned per waypoint
Aircraft acceptance

Sign on glass - airworthiness, captured.

The commander reviews the operational flight plan and signs the acceptance declaration directly on the iPad. The signature is captured, timestamped, and uploaded to the platform - no paper, no separate scanner, no follow-up.

Flight acceptance - digital signature capture
Preflight - D-ATIS

D-ATIS scanned, parsed, ready.

Capture the D-ATIS broadcast directly in the EFB - designator, time, runway, wind, temperature, dew point, QNH, visibility and clouds parsed into the right fields. CAVOK and NSC switches keep the workflow honest. Free-text notes for anything the parser doesn't catch.

  • One-tap D-ATIS scan
  • Structured fields, not free text
  • Notes tab for crew handoff

What sets it apart

Designed by ops people, for ops people.

The features that make the difference in daily operations - not the ones that look good in a slide deck.

ROUTING

Interactive route map

Full-screen map with route, waypoints, alternates with fuel info, and a vertical profile with altitude, wind comp, temperature, fuel, FIR, MORA and tropopause layers.

MASS & BALANCE

Loadsheet, integrated

Complete loadsheet with ACFT, Crew, Pax, Cargo and Fuel tabs. DOM/DOI entry, CG envelope check, digital loadsheet signing - no separate M&B tool required.

FUEL

Smart fuel management

Detailed fuel table (Taxi, Trip, Cont, Alt, FinRes, Extra), pilot fuel requests with OFP recalculation, eco fueling toggle, automatic previous-flight remaining fuel.

INFLIGHT

Actual vs. planned, per waypoint

Side-by-side route log: planned wind, OAT, TAS/Mach, FL, time and fuel against actuals. Deviations are flagged the moment they appear.

AIRPORTS

Airport intelligence

CAT ratings, runway data (TODA, LDA, approach, ILS), METAR/TAF, NOTAMs with category tags, and custom company notes per airport.

DOCUMENTATION

Photo capture, in workflow

Capture and attach photos at every step: fuel uplift receipts, performance calculations, ATIS notes, deicing confirmations. Timestamped and linked to the flight.

NOTES

Apple Pencil & handwriting

Freeform handwritten notes, sticky notes, and image attachments on a multi-page canvas. Perfect for ATIS scratchpads and clearance notes.

BRIEFING

Auto crew briefing sheets

PDF crew briefing sheets generated automatically: flight overview, crew per leg, aircraft information, detailed leg data - in the built-in PDF viewer.

RESILIENCE

Offline iPad-to-iPad sync

Both cockpit iPads stay synchronised even without ground network. Captain and First Officer always see the same flight state - no internet required.

MAINTENANCE

Electronic Techlog ready

The EFB also doubles as the aircraft's electronic technical log - provided your CAMO / MRO software vendor exposes the corresponding APIs. Defects, deferred items, MEL writebacks and tech-log entries flow from the cockpit straight into maintenance, with no separate techlog device on the flight deck.

In context

How it compares to a standalone EFB.

Most EFB solutions cover one phase well and stop there. WinOps EFB carries the crew through the whole flight, fed from the Anemos 5 dispatch platform from the first OFP to the last waypoint.

Fed by the Anemos 5 platform.

WinOps EFB sits on the cockpit side of the Anemos 5 platform. Operational flight plans, briefing packages, route, performance and weather data flow from Anemos 5 straight to the iPad - so the plan the dispatcher releases is the exact plan the crew sees, with no re-keying and no parallel truth.

Even more with the WinOps Suite

Pair the EFB with the WinOps Flight Operations Management suite.

WinOps EFB is one part of a broader suite. Pair it with WinOps Flight Operations Management and the cockpit becomes a live extension of operations control - bidirectional, signed, and connected all the way back to crew, scheduling and maintenance.

WinOps
With WinOps

OCC ↔ cockpit live link

Two-way real-time link between dispatch and the iPad. Plan changes, status updates and ETAs flow both ways.

With WinOps

Dispatch chat

Built-in messaging between OCC and crew - in the same app the briefing lives in.

With WinOps

Crew, scheduling & qualifications

Crew per leg with photos, roles and currency, pulled from the WinOps crew module.

With WinOps

Fuel-truck ordering

Trigger the fuel order from the cockpit, routed straight into your WinOps fueling workflow.

With WinOps

Postflight auto-sync

Fuel actuals, delay codes, times and reports flow into operations the moment the flight closes.

With WinOps

MRO integration

Acceptance, tech-log and MEL writeback to your maintenance system through the WinOps integration layer.

With WinOps

All flights of the day

One briefing overview consolidates the full daily roster with crew, aircraft and schedule context.

With WinOps

Push from dispatch

OCC pushes plan updates, status changes and slot revisions straight to the cockpit iPad.

With WinOps

Document library & manuals

Operations manuals, checklists and forms managed in WinOps and delivered to the EFB on the iPad.

Standalone is fine, too. WinOps EFB runs perfectly well on the Anemos 5 platform alone - the features above are what you unlock when you add the full WinOps Flight Operations Management suite on top.

In partnership with

Built by WinOps, integrated by Axturis.

WinOps EFB is the result of a deep partnership between two teams who specialise in different ends of the same problem. WinOps brings cockpit-grade EFB and flight operations management engineering; Axturis brings the Anemos 5 dispatch platform that feeds it. Operators get one integrated product, two specialist teams behind it.

WinOps
WinOps develops the EFB application that sits on the iPad in the cockpit, and the broader Flight Operations Management suite around it. Axturis delivers the Anemos 5 platform - flight planning, performance, dispatch and OCC - and the integration that makes the EFB feel like one system with the rest of the operation.

See WinOps EFB on your own flights.

We'll run a live walkthrough on a sample of your real rotations, with your fleet and your typical city pairs. Standalone deployment if you only need the EFB; full Anemos 5 integration whenever you're ready.
